How It Works
The development of a plan for care starts from the very first contact. This contact can be made by the patient, the patient’s family, and friends or by referral from doctors and social services. Then, the Director of Nursing undertakes the first assessment, which aims at collecting medical and social data, such as the patient’s medical record, household and domestic situation as well as the patient’s and family’s ability to participate in the treatment.
It should be stressed that all services provided by Curis Home Healthcare are tailored to the patient’s needs and are implemented by a specialized and experienced team of nurses in collaboration with the patient’s doctor. In the case the patient does not have a personal doctor, we can recommend one. We have affiliations with private doctors who have the specializations required for the healthcare programs we offer. We also have affiliations with the majority of the main healthcare institutions in Cyprus.
Furthermore, our team includes physiotherapists, nutritionists/dieticians, psychologists, and sociologists. Our aim is to provide a broad and comprehensive range of home healthcare services.
